They Say it is Always Beautiful in Puerto Vallarta

Few exercises of the imagination are more enjoyable than planning a vacation stay at a new and exotic location. The process frequently begins with answers to a few simple questions: How easy is it to get there? How long will it take us to get there? What is the weather like? If you have already booked your Puerto Vallarta Vacation Villa Rental, you’re in luck – it’s easy to get there and the weather is wonderful.

“I’ll fly away . . .”
It is not impossible to drive to Puerto Vallarta, and if the travel blogs are any indication, many people do include it as a destination in their driving holiday. You might find it easier simply to book a flight to the city’s Gustavo Díaz Ordaz International Airport. A number of airlines fly into the city from airports across the US.

The moment you step off your plane, you’ll know you came to the right place. In fact, you’ll be hard pressed to remember just how cold it was back at home when you feel the warm sunshine on your face. And if you’re visiting in winter, be prepared for sunshine – during December, January and February, you’ll enjoy average daytime temperatures in the high 70s and low 80s; at night, the temperature will drop into the 60s. Packing tip: you might want to leave that down jacket behind.

Life isn’t all sunshine
You won’t see a lot of rain in Puerto Vallarta from November through May. Sure, folks see an occasional storm during winter, but that’s to be expected in a city situated on Mexico’s Pacific coast. Summer months are a different story, however. From June through September, it rains . . . and rains and rains – anywhere from 8 to nearly 14 inches each month. It’s highly unlikely you’ll melt in the rain, though, so don’t be afraid to step outside and enjoy the warm temperatures that go along with summer storms. Just be careful with lightening.

No matter what time of year you book your Puerto Vallarta Vacation Villa Rental, you’re bound to have great weather. There are plenty of activities for visitors, indoors and out, to keep you busy no matter what the day brings. Pack your sun block, your umbrella, and a pair of shoes you don’t mind getting wet, and you’ll be ready for anything!
